VIEW FROM HOTEL ROOM IN AUCKLAND
Brett and Kristen drove me to the Mercure Hotel in downtown Auckland where I met my tour director, Clarke, with AAT Kings for the tour of New Zealand. The dinner buffet on the thirteenth floor restaurant allowed a beautiful view of Auckland (city of sails). The restaurant was adjacent to the bar where the Australian rugby team was enjoying a loud and noisy evening.
